In a mixing bowl, pour the liquid from the can of chickpeas and beat with an electronic beater for about 2 minutes, until soft peaks start to appear. Gradually add the sweetener and continue to mix it for a further 3-5 minutes, until semi-stiff peaks begin to form.
Optional: Scoop out ⅓ cup of the mixture and put it in a piping bag ready for garnishing.
Add the milk, rum, and turmeric to the remaining mixture. Beat until well combined.
