Are you craving a hit of satisfying salty and crunchy goodness? Then this three-ingredient crispy coconut ‘bacon’ is what you need!
This recipe requires just three ingredients, yet will make perfectly delicious and healthy coconut bacon that you can serve with salads, soups, sandwiches, dips or whenever you desire bacon bits.
It’s easy to make, with no need for the liquid smoke that most recipes will call for, as the smoked paprika adds the perfect smokiness. There are no added sweeteners as coconut has it’s own sweetness naturally, is high in fibre, gluten-free, and contains no saturated fat (unlike real bacon).
Coconut ‘bacon’ is way better for your waistline and will leave you feeling even more satisfied as no cute pigs were harmed in its production – yay! 🐷
Don’t forget to make extra so you can keep it on hand at home whenever you want to add some to your meals.
My creamy broccolini salad tastes delicious when it’s topped with crispy coconut bacon.

Bake for 5 minutes, then remove from the oven, flip, and bake for a further 2 minutes or until flakes are crispy and turning a golden brown colour. Be sure not to leave them unattended as they will quickly burn if left in the oven for too long.
- Remove from oven and set aside to cool at room temperature.
